Important messages can be relayed to campers through the office and leadership staff. Please be assured that we will contact you should any serious issues arise, and in emergencies, we can arrange for you to speak to your child.

CAN I CALL MY CAMPER?

Any important messages can also be relayed through our leadership staff. We have found that this has led to more successful camp experiences for youth. Please be assured that we will contact you should any serious issues arise, and in emergencies, we can arrange for you to speak to your child.

CAN I VISIT MY CAMPER DURING THE SESSION?

There are no visitors (including parents and guardians) permitted on camp at any time. We understand being away at camp and away from family can create homesickness, amongst other feelings for both campers and loved ones. Please keep in mind that unannounced visits from guardians or other guests cause unnecessary disruptions in camp routines. We do not allow visitation at any time during the sessions as the campers are busy and engaged in various activities throughout the day.

WHAT HAPPENS IF MY CHILD GETS HOMESICK?

Sometimes, campers who are away from home for the first time may feel homesick. Our staff makes every effort to make the transition from home to camp as easy as possible by encouraging participation in camp activities, supporting campers, and letter writing. In the event of prolonged or serious homesickness, our leadership staff will contact you.

IS THERE A LOST AND FOUND?

Participants are responsible for labeling, taking care of, and keeping track of their personal belongings. Crossroads cannot be held responsible for any valuables brought to camp.

Efforts will be made to help find and retrieve any items lost or left behind. Please call our office and let us know as soon as possible. Keep in mind, all abandoned articles will be donated to a charitable organization, two weeks after the end of each session.
