⭐ Testimonials
Real couples. Real weekends. Real magic.
“Truly the best!” — Ashley
“We worked with Camp Wing from 2018 through our 2021 wedding (after a 2020 reschedule), and every step of the way was amazing. If you want a nontraditional venue with space, time, and personality, Camp Wing is it. Multiple ceremony spots, a big reception hall, and endless photo opportunities.”
“People are still claiming it was the best wedding they have ever been to!” — Karen
“We reserved the whole camp for the weekend and had a blast from start to finish. Will and the staff handled everything and made the entire experience easy and joyful. As a wedding planner, I recommend Camp Wing to any couple looking for a beautiful, cool, alternative venue that feels like a real weekend away with the people you love.”
“A unique, fun, adventurous, epic weekend.” — Alex
“Half our guests stayed on-site and loved being together all weekend. The camp is beautiful — lake, woods, activities — and we made every space our own. The staff were incredible and supported us every step of the way. And best of all, proceeds support Crossroads’ mission. Truly unforgettable.”
“The staff went above and beyond.” — Alison
“We wanted a weekend where our guests could spend real time with us — s’mores, crafts, canoe rides, board games — all of it. Camp Wing made that possible. Every guest felt welcome, and every detail was handled. Rain or shine, it was perfect.”
❓ Frequently Asked Questions
the weekend experience
Do we really get the entire camp for the whole weekend?
Yes. From Friday at 12pm through Sunday at 12pm, Camp Wing is fully yours — no shared spaces, no overlapping events.
Is early access available?
Access starts Friday at 12pm so you can settle in, decorate, and ease into the weekend.
Can we host multiple events across the camp (welcome party, brunch, etc.)?
Yes — most couples use different spaces for different parts of the weekend.
The Pavilion, Stockade, waterfront, and field areas all work beautifully for gatherings beyond the reception.
Does Camp Wing provide a wedding planner?
Camp Wing does not provide full wedding planning services, however our caring and experienced Camp Director will set you up for success. We will:
-
Prepare camp based on your agreed plans
-
Meet and direct vendors upon arrival
-
Be on site all weekend to support with questions
-
Help ensure guests and vendors know where to go
-
Keep things running smoothly
-
Light the campfires at the right time
You bring the vision and vibe. We help make it all flow.
Can we choose where people sleep?
Yes — you can assign cabins however you’d like.
Some couples group people by friend circles, some let guests pick, and some make it a surprise. All valid approaches.
Do the cabins have electricity?
Yes — all cabins have electricity and lighting. Village cabins have screened windows and a classic camp feel; Stockade and Ellison Center cabins are more lodge-style.
What’s the bathroom situation?
Bathrooms are available near all lodging areas including inside the Ziskind Pavilion, Bernard Alexander Hall, and the Stockade, so guests never have to walk far. The main restroom spaces have been recently refreshed and are clean, modern, and easy to access. Think simple “gym-style” facilities designed for a full camp weekend, not rustic outhouses in the woods. The private cottages each have their own bathrooms, which makes them a great option for wedding parties, family, or guests who prefer a little extra comfort.
Can guests arrive at different times?
Yes. Your weekend rental includes a dedicated on-site director who helps greet vendors, directs guests to your welcome area, and coordinates arrival times as needed.
Can guests come just for the day?
Absolutely. You can mix overnight guests with day-of visitors. It’s your weekend — build it how you want.

Yes — Friday at 12pm you’ll get access for decorating, setup, and settling in.
Most décor styles work; we can outline simple restrictions to keep the grounds safe and sustainable for all.
Can we hang lights and decorations?
Yes. We love seeing couples make the space their own. We simply ask that you leave no trace and remove all décor at the end of your weekend. No nails, tape staples, hooks, or anything that could damage historic structures or woodwork.
Can we have our rehearsal the night before?
Yes, rehearsals the night before are the norm. They are often relaxed camp-style gatherings — think pizza, a few beverages, and a little light decorating or setup with your closest people.
Can we host a Sunday brunch?
Yes, a Sunday brunch works well the next morning, as long as it fits within the checkout window and all guests and vendors are off site by 12 noon.
Do you have recommendations for brunch caterers?
Over the years we have seen many different Sunday brunch setups. Honestly, the most popular have been the simplest. Think Dunkin, Panera, or a local bakery dropping off coffee, bagels and pastries for a relaxed, well earned breakfast.

Can we bring our own alcohol?
Yes. You are welcome to purchase your own alcohol and provide it for your guests. Wine bottles on tables are perfectly fine, and we even have a canoe that can be filled with ice for beer and soft drinks. We do ask that you hire a server to pour liquor or mix cocktails, if you choose to have them.
Can you accommodate guests with different cultural or religious traditions?
Absolutely. We host a wide variety of weddings and celebrations — cultural, interfaith, secular, traditional, nontraditional, and everything in between. If you need specific spaces or timing for cultural rituals, we’ll help make it work.

Yes. Several of our restroom facilities are single-stall or can be designated gender-neutral for the weekend. Let us know your preference and we’ll help set clear, welcoming signage.
Insurance Requirements

Both must name “Crossroads for Kids” as Additional Insured for the full duration of your rental
You can obtain coverage through your own insurance company, or through eWed, our preferred provider.
Fun Stuff — Games, Fires + Kids
Are lawn games included?
Yes — we’ve got a full lineup of classics ready to go, including cornhole, giant Jenga, Yardzee, Connect-4, and more. They’re set up for you to enjoy all weekend, whether it’s a friendly tournament or the “we swear we’re not competitive” kind of competition.

Important Driving Rules
To protect the grounds and keep everyone safe:
-
Cars may not drive or park all over camp
-
Vehicles must stay on Camp Wing’s marked roads only
-
Guests should not open closed gates or drive into restricted footpath only areas
-
There is plenty of parking, so no one should need to drive into cabin villages, activity fields, or wooded areas
Following these rules helps us protect:
-
the natural habitats around camp
-
our landscaping and forest floor, and
-
the underground systems that keep camp running
In the past, off-round driving has caused:
-
deep tire ruts
-
cars getting stuck in soft ground
-
damage to septic fields (which can create very unpleasant smells during an event), and
-
harm to sensitive natural areas
Keeping vehicles on the marked roads ensures Camp Wing stays beautiful, safe, and fully functional for your entire weekend — and keeps cars out of your wedding photos.
Can cars stay on site overnight?
Yes. Vehicles can remain on site overnight in the designated parking lots listed above.
How do guests find their way around camp at night?
Camp Wing is beautiful under the stars and paths are easy enough to follow, though it can get a little dark once the sun goes down. Many couples like to add their own touch by:
Many couples like to help guide guests by:
-
Providing flashlights or headlamps as favors
-
Lining paths with LED tea-lights in paper bags (a simple, safe, and very charming touch)
-
These small additions make evening walks feel comfortable — and magical.
Policies + Safety
Can we bring dogs or other pets?
Usually no — except for service animals.
What time do events need to end?
There is no specific quiet hour. Typically, receptions wind down around 10:30pm, with guests moving to campfires and quieter hangs in designated areas.
Are fires allowed in multiple places?
One main campfire is included and built for your group. Additional fires may be possible depending on safety guidelines — just ask during planning. All fires must be hosted in one of our pre-made fire circles.
Are candles or open flames allowed?
Yes, as long as they are used safely. Candles and open flames are allowed only in sturdy holders at the Reception Hall, inside the Stockade, and at the Ziskind Pavilion. Flames are not permitted on our wooded trails. Any flames must be supervised at all times and fully extinguished at the end of the event.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is only permitted in pre-determined outdoor locations and never indoors.
Are fireworks, sparklers or sky lanterns allowed?
No. Fireworks, sparklers, and sky lanterns are not permitted at Camp Wing. They are illegal for private use in Massachusetts and are a real fire risk in our wooded environment. We also want to be good neighbors and keep our local fire department happy.
Are golf carts available for use during the weekend?
Camp Wing does not provide golf carts for rental or guest use. You are welcome to rent carts from an outside provider if you would like them for transportation or accessibility, however you will need to obtain additional insurance coverage to ensure any use or accidents are fully covered.
Arrival, Departure + Scheduling Adjustments
Arrival Instructions for when guests arrive:
-
Follow posted signs for parking and building locations.
-
Once parked, guests can walk along marked paths to cabins, ceremony sites, or the reception hall.
-
After-dark tip: pathways can be dim, we recommend guests bring a flashlight or you may choose to place LED tealights in paper bags to light the way.
-
Cars may remain on site overnight, and all lots are accessible for Sunday morning departures.
Can we check in early?
Early check-in is sometimes requested, but can be difficult to offer.
Our team is often:
-
Preparing the site
-
Cleaning cabins
-
Resetting spaces
-
Occasionally hosting another event before or after your rental
We’re happy to review the schedule and let you know if early access is possible, but it is not something we can guarantee.
Can we check out late on Sunday?
Late check-out is also hard to accommodate because we need time to:
-
Fully clean cabins
-
Reset facilities
-
Prepare the site for the next group
If the schedule allows, we can provide a quote for additional hours, but late departures are typically not available.
Can we extend our weekend if it falls on a holiday Monday?
Extensions into a holiday Monday are occasionally possible, but depend on staffing, other rentals, and program schedules. We can review the calendar and provide availability and pricing upon request, but holiday extensions are not standard.
Can we book a shorter stay for a reduced price?
Our wedding model is built around full-weekend rentals where you have the entire camp to yourselves. This is what makes Camp Wing feel relaxed, immersive, and special — not a rushed, five-hour event.
We do offer single-day rentals for $10,000 for couples who prefer a one-day celebration. However, because of the time needed to prepare, host, and reset the site, we typically do not break up the weekend into smaller partial rentals of specific spaces. If you are unsure which option is right for you, we’re happy to talk through your plans.
Can we book only part of the camp (for example, just The Stockade or just one ceremony area)?
During peak wedding season, we do not split the property. Exclusive access to the full site is core to the experience we offer — it protects privacy, simplifies logistics, and keeps the weekend focused on your celebration only.
Outside of peak season, we may be able to offer Stockade-only rentals for $15,000, depending on dates and needs. Availability is limited, and these bookings are evaluated case-by-case.
Feel free to reach out if you have a specific date in mind.
Can we reserve the camp for a one-day wedding only?
We may have limited single-day wedding options, but they do not include overnight accommodations and are available only during specific parts of our season.
If you’re interested, we can talk through the details and see if a single-day option fits your plans.
